Pearl Harbor day. So on that foggy morning we all got up early and bundled up Papa and headed downtown. Being a retired Marine himself he had a wonderful time seeing the Marine Band and the Commandant of the Marine Corp. What a great, inspiring speech he gave! Papa greatly enjoyed seeing in person a President of the United States. He was so glad he decided to go with us that morning as with all he is going through with lung cancer, outings like this are tiring. He said that it was one of his greatest highlights of his life.
